You can give them a nice little trick that'll work. It's on the same
line as DB in the Boxing club.
Ask you volunteer to hold an arm out straight in front of them.
You now hold your out stretched arm with your hand on top of theirs.
When you say go they are to lift your arm as high as possible.
You say go and they lift your are (you resist enough to make them work
for it).
NOW
You TELL THEM the this time you will use hypnosis and they will find
that the more the TRY the more their arm will become heavy.
Get yourselves ready. Then tell them to WEIGHT.. WEIGHT
Then say "OK now JUST TRY"
You then commit full resistance to it and at all time hold eye contact
with them.
Depending on the level of response you get you can also add that the
harder they TRY to lift your arm the more their right foot WILL stick to
the floor (assuming they are using their right hand). Just a little
something to add when you get a very good response.
This can be opened up and you can create some great fun with this one.
The by product is that you create believers in an instant with it. Of
course it's a lot of showmanship but then a lot of hypnosis is anyway.
That's part of what creates the belief.
ENJOY
Harry

Hmm, thanks for the ideas, Harry.
They seem logical, but I really can't find a willing person; My
family are not very keen. (Mebbe you could help out with that? A
pretend trick to get them believing?)
Can you do me a favour? Can you try it on yourself, and tell me if it
works or not?
Thank you :)
