Subject: pure genius

Whatever the guy's a genius.

In paper scissors stone watch....

He starts "you know th agme paper scissors stone where you bang your hand
three times and come out with something like this (gestures scissors)
Lets play - in the first round the spectator chooses what has just been
gestured (scissors) and derren choooses rock then spectator chooses rock and
derren chooses paper then spec chooses paper and derren chooses scissors.
Each game consists of the spectator choosing derrens previous choice. I
think this trick is actually dead simple and is simply a case of thinking
ahead, even before he turns his back he gestures scissors at the spectator
who then selects the scissors.

In the coin in the hand - the second guess serves both as fishing and to set
up a psychological bind for the third guess.

"this one tells me wether you're a challenger (gesturing to his right)
meaning you keep it in the same hand, or a responder (gesturing to his left)
meaning you respond to (specator cracks a smile at this point telling derren
that he is indeed a responder) this sets up in his mind that he wants to be
a challenger and derren assumes he is for the next one.

Lets have some feedback then....

The blind man was simple leading He knows in advance the mans choice of
location and favourite food and music.
"we're just going to home IN on one aspect of the evening, are you INside or
outside. "inside"
So well assume you're in a REDstaurant, are you drinking red wine or white?
" red"
By asking about the odour and mentioned the flowers and the kitchen he
basically elliminates those options from the mans choices, whats left not
alot? candles
Everyone is gonna say taxi especially if you're blind and have been drinking
wine and its easy to guess that he'd be home before midnight
