The principles however are in print, well one part of it is at least
(I think). Its a clever routine.

It isn't a combination of many things. In fact the principle appears
to be rather simple, which is why it would be a shame to let on.

To a certain extent, but not very often. Enough to confuse people
and make them think they need to sign up to expensive NLP courses.

If only this was the case. Unfortunately I think most aim just at
replication.

I disagree. And rather than a 'book of tricks' I would suggest a
book of techniques that are the cornerstone of what Derren achieves.
Whilst there is a certain amount to be gained from reasoned thought,
its not really helpful when its based just on a 'belief'. Also the
problem with duplicating what Derren does is that little seems to be
discussed in conjunction about the presentation and performance
psychology Derren has taken great care to include as part of the
effect. Without this, many will potentially expose how something is
done..which will be a great shame if they ever got to the stage of
understanding this important part.
