Subject: Did anyone else notice this at the dog track?

There seems to have been a lot of theories floating around regarding
how Derren performed the dog track feat. Most of the ideas seem
quite plausible and well thought out but are ignoring one factor.

If my memory serves me correctly:

1) DB places bet on losing dog
2) DB goes to window with losing ticket
3) Cashier checks the ticket using the machine - No payout
4) DB gets his bang on
5) Cashier checks ticket using machine and pays out
6) DB accepts cash and questions payment policy
7) Cashier agrees that mistakes can't be rectified
8) DB asks what the number of the winning dog was
9) Woman answers 4
10)DB says and you paid out on?
11)SHE LOOKS AT THE TICKET AND SAYS 1

In my mind, this removes the possibilty of a switch (Unless DB has
extremely thin, dexterous invisible arms that he fed through the
grating and manipulated the ticket in the womans hands). Like I
said, Im going off memory, could someone check their video. It seems
that DB handed over a losing ticket and got paid. I can remember
that the woman looked at the ticket to confirm its number after she
had paid out.

Check it out and please let me know...

Personally I dont believe the interrupt story offered by DB. A
effeminately dressed balding man with a goatee followed by a camera
crew with spotlights and mics does not need to bang on a windowframe
to create a "Hmmm, thats out of the ordinary" interrupt.

All that leaves in my mind is that either the trick is stooged or DB
is one clever chimp - if the method of "Lift" is anything to go by,
I would be inclined to agree with the latter. Either that or he has
a computer graphic team on hand who scan and reprint manipulated
copies of the betting slips (Which would explain the evident lag
between the end of the race and DBs collection of his
winnings)...The rabbit hole gets deeper
