Subject: Re: INDUCE....Ouch then urghh

Just thought I'd throw in my tuppence worth here.

I wouldn't dream of hypnotising a person without an intiial
consultaition. Now when I say hypnotising I mean, puting someone
into a hypnotic state for the purposes of therapy. During this time
I might spend between 5-20mins chatting with the subconsious mind of
the client and probably leaving a post hypnotic suggestion. Okay, I
wouldn't do any of this until I have established that persons medical
background. I want to know if they are on any medication that may
indicate heart problems (including Blood pressure), schizophrenia or
epilepsy. This is important if I am going to induce a hypnotic
state. A general chat about their problem is also necessary to
determine their willingness to be cured etc.

Now I wouldn't think about going up to someone I had no knowledge
about and squeezing a major artery in their neck. This is gross
stupidity. I would think even more stupid to do it if I had little
or no knowledge or experience of hypnosis.

Why on earth anyone would want to induce or remove a headache in the
first place, especially using this method eludes me.

Personally I would like to squeeze this threads Carotid artery good
and hard and kill it dead
