Yes Blaine did have a major communication gap to fill - but I think
he did so rather well.
As for the scary bits - well the card tricks weren't really anything
new to me - but the way that Blaine performed them was very good, and
i enjoyed them greatly. The fly coming to life bit - well i should
stop watching those magic secrets revealed programmes, cos i know how
he did that too (can anyone say cryogenics?)
But the scary bits - well pulling a thread out of your stomach
probably isnt the best tricks to do at a dinner party, and sticking a
pen through your tongue - ick - i know he has a way of doing things,
but it doesnt stop me from getting a bit freaked out by some of them -
was good to see the name on the arm trick again too (when he takes a
folded piece of papaer with a name written on it, burns it and
scrapes it against his skin and lo and behold the name's on his arm -
i do love that trick.)
All in all it was a very good programme - the name dawn written on
the taxi held me flabbergasted for a while to!
