True - but its all in the presentation in the end - its all based on
different places (the show0 and the guy can't just stay in america
the whole time - besides which i did like the way he told about the
culture being deep rooted in magic etc - it didnt come as much of a
shock when the people he performed too thought he was dealing in
black mgic.

Don't talk to me about paul daniels lol - sure he was good for his
time - but im just fed up of seeing him still popping up - there are
only a few magicians from "history" you might say that I still enjoy
watching today, and suffice to say Daniels aint one of em!

Yes I loved it! I believe we are indeed thinking of the same show -
It's a shame that I only caught parts of it - was channel surfing to
find something of interest - i am definately going to watch more,
even if it does spoil it, it helps to show just how much you don't
see on the tv. I have no doubt that even our derren is guilty of that
once or twice in the show (obviously not often.... but then... no
wait dont kill me"! PLEASE dont kill me!!! ;)

*snigger* and *eeeeeeeww* at the same time - it doesnt seem right to
me though - why would an established and well-known performer bring
to light a trick that wasn't perfected? he's just asking for a lot of
criticism for it!

YES thats the one! I loved it! Was a bit curious as to why the camera
went off the girl's face for a bit - thought there was some
trickiness involved, then when she made no reaction at first (to the
name on the taxi) i entertained the thought that it could have been
dubbed in later - but then she did react to SOMETHING - but we didn't
really see what it was...

By that time the taxi was (at an esitmate) too far away for her to
casually spot the name on the taxi - and we don't see what david is
doing off shot - it could have been anything to make them
go "argh"... i dunno - it still intrigues me but i imagine there's
some trickiness involved there...

Enjoying this btw ;)
