I saw the programs last night and was surprised as to the amount that
Derren revealed about the mechanisms behind his tricks. I think he is
obviously getting ready to sell his book and is trying to create
interest by give a little but not quite enough to copy his tricks. He
also looked very thin in the new scene between shows; he must have
been working very hard over the past few months.
One little observation from the dog track. With the final lady at the
till where he drew money I noticed that he used the pattern interrupt
as she past the ticket back and a kind of (excuse the use of this
word) retarded look come over her face, mouth slightly open etc.
The attractive women who Derren guessed the chat up line from seemed
very fidgety, I think she had a thing for Derren, even those she was
being very standoffish in her words she was fiddling with her fingers
and jewellery and seemed quite interested.
