You should be aware that a first edition of Pure Effect is going to
set you back hundreds of pounds. I believe the going rate is around
the £800 mark.
I've seen the first edition and I have to say that you probably could
spend your money on something more useful. The two effects that are
missing from the editions other than the first one are admittedly
fantastic but only worth the money if you are a working professional
and can adapt them to your own style.
