I can understand that you are keen to understand how these effects
work but please don't ask someone to post methods for effects that
Derren has consciously decided to keep out of the public domain.
It's extremely unethical for anyone to do this.
I disagree with Glyn however on the point about it being unethical to
perform effects which DB once put on the market. If he made a
mistake in his opinion in putting these effects into the first
edition it's not reasonable to try and suggest that those people who
have bought and read the effects can't now perform them. That must
happen to magicians frequently but they have to live with it.
More importantly some of us will know that a great method in the
hands of someone who butchers the effect does no great harm to its
originator. Dunninger was famously "exposed" with regard to his
methods but he just carried on performing the same effects because he
realised that people had come to see him entertain them and not to
watch for his methods.
Just some ideas...
