It is not easy to give up the right to free speech.

I think it was very kind of Lauren to give up her standards and conform the
restrictions that the new group puts upon her and the rest of us.

I personally do not ike being manipulated by power-hungry people. But if
Derren has done a bit of "back stage convincing" then she probably doesn't
realise that she is being used.

Anyway, perhaps the division of loyalty is a good thing. I'm nt sure how,
but I'm sure Derren, along with his team of cronies, could come up with
something if they worked at it hard enough :)
