I haven't read Pure Effect, thought in my eyes, stooges are the most disapointing way of creating an effect. Anybody could learn a few card tricks, then for the final trick, use a stooge. While it may be effective in the short-term, it's not very clever (why wouldn't anybody fall for a stooge?) and represents very little creativity. Thanks, Dan.
