Some lies are even fatter than anyone can imagine.

Advertising agency scam anyone? That reminded me of the time Penn
and Teller went to Picadilly Circus and did a card trick where
someone took a card from the deck, Penn did a "perfect fan" of
cards, one of the cameras sent a freeze frame of the cards to a
computer which then worked out which card was missing and displayed
the result on a billboard so that Penn could read it and inform the
punter which card he took out.

If the audience feel like they are being let in on the devious and
complex method that is being used to get one over on someone then
they are never going to question that that is what indeed happened.
This is such a beautiful way of presenting a trick, but oh, SUCH a
naughty thing.
