You are wrong wrong wrong! But, it's highly amusing.

I haven't seen Derren's tour but at the Tobacco factory last year he
spoke about the birth of spiritualism and the fact that by the time
the ladies involved in its creation confessed that it had all been a
a hoax the whole thing had become too big a monster for their words
to have any impact.

If Derren himself came on here and told you that the whole thing was
a trick, a set up, a con then people may well not believe him. This
is how convinced you guys are that what he is doing is so much
cleverer and complex than it actually is. Like I said, amusing.

To reiterate: There is NO WAY someone who works in a dog track is
going to pay out on a winning ticket. They can't EVEN if they want
to. It's the way it works. THEY CANNOT PAY OUT ON A LOSING TICKET.
The person that works the Lotto machine in your newsagent can't pay
out on a losing ticket. It is exactly the same, THEY CANNOT DO IT.
