If I balanced three identical l-o-n-g boards across a gap and placed a BIG
HEAVY block of gold in the middle - and then told you could have the gold
iff (if and only if) you could tell which one it was on with your eyes
closed. Do you think you could sense the board with the gold on it purely
by sensing the amount of spring in the boards and spotting the odd one out?
