"made it up" is a good way to proceed - if that was your presentation, you
are doing well :)

I think it is intended to deepen the trance-state, her 'attentiveness' to him.
Ie. He is about to tailor his trick for her personally (not)
The more you can shut out the outside world, the better off you are.

he then follows with "now TRY to lift your hand" you replace that with "try
in vain"

when Olga forgets her first name - she damn near repeats his patter
verbatim to assist in descibing how she felt. Gooooood state control :)

>It doesnt seem like very good language to use, you kinda
>have to think about that more to understand it no?

hmm, well I personally just plain disagree there, to "try in vain" is a
very comfortable phrase for me - not at all alien in nature >:| hmm

> Or is that the point?

Metric/whoever, you might like to try this as you read so that you can
understand it more fully - or, you may wish to just read it and say
"whatever <shrug>" at the end. I let you choose:

Put your hand on the desk.

Press down firmly for a count of 20 or 30

Hold your hand there as you read this paragraph. The above 30seconds is
normally where you put all your suggestion, but this ain't gonna work the
same way in an email.

So, let's skip the babble - Imagine that your hand quite genuinely IS stuck
to the desk.

okay? stuck it there?

Right. Now **TRY** to lift it, and the more you **TRY IN VAIN**, the more
you will find it stuck.
?following me?

Righty.

Now say (out load please - i'd like a predicate reframe) "one two three"
and LIFT YOUR HAND now.

"free will returns to your hand"

<game over>

If you played along it just worked on you -almost- as well as it worked on
Olga. When you listen to DB, listen to how much effort he puts in to
getting her to play along - not knowing what is coming. When you play
along, it works - it just does! The art is in suggesting that YOU WANT TO
PLAY ALONG without stating it toooo obviously.

Think about the 3diamonds force - the same thing - suggest it in as many
ways as possible - but only in ways which are understood by the right brain
- if the left brain gets a whiff of what is happening free will will return
too soon.

This can sound knightmarishly difficult, but once the penny drops you can
talk crap for england :)

>They try but they will be thinking 'my efforts are in vain'?

yep - so nothing happens :)

>Did you mean the harder you try in vain or is it good to confuse them
>with slightly off grammer?

lol "grammer"

No, you embed the command "try in vain" to the right brain, and say "try"
to the left brain. The left brain attempts to retrieve a definition for
"try" and gets the last entry (reverse-chronologically speaking) "try... in
vain" from the right brain.

Watch their eyes - you will know when it has worked - it's like falling out
of a double-decker bus on the severn bridge - you have no idea what it
would be like - but be assured, if it happens you will be in no doubt as to
what is happening! :-)

>PS did u try much of this? If so...

Yes. Success. <shrugs>
