The guessing which hand the coin is in utilises almost all of the
techniques derren has learnt over the past 15 years... that said, it
is fairly easy to get a good success rate provided the subject is
chosen carefully and the atmosphere is right. get the subject to
bring their hands out in front of them, together, then ask them to
move them apart in one gesture. often, their nose tilts slightly
towards the hand with the coin. that in conjunction with a couple of
eriksson confusion patterns thrown in over the top works perfectly.
also look for muscle tension in the arms and wrists or again with
some influence get the 'guilty' hand to sink downwards without them
even realising.
oh, and at the walthamstow dog track the first woman he claims money
from is a confederate - just look at her smile. im not entirely sure
what the bang on the window (with the second woman) was for, but i
have 2 theories: 1)it was to break logic patterns and make her resort
to previous schemas (anticipation patterns), or 2)could it have been
to draw her eyes to a position for constructed visual images (eye
accessing cues & nlp).
