Perhaps the punched guy (martial arts scene), and the guy in the art

I think stooge and actor is different.
For me, the "three-fold" claim was a mistake, because of the "no
tricks", which is obviously wrong (as you said). Perhaps he
understood this : when I watched the new series, I saw that the
claim is now only : no actors.
I think Derren uses stooges but no actors. And when I say "stooge",
I think he uses only some kind of "instant stooge", so nothing is
prepared, nothing is rehearsed, no "actors" used! But some
people "help" him to achieve a few miracles...
