Hey go, not too bad thanks. Hope you are yourself likewise.

Your original statement was (in msg #1482):
"As I said in previous posts £1o-20 each would cover the room cost"
(I know that statement implies a previous posting, but not one that I could
find)

>Its 25.00 as I have to cover room costs etc.

I don't mind for one moment how much you wish to charge. That is entirely
your decision, you have stated clearly what _you_ will give and what _we_
have to give in return.

What upsets me is the misdirection that has been used against your
peers. I use the word 'peer' as it is a word _I_ would use to describe the
more experienced members of this group - the ones who are likely to attend.

Your "fantastic!!!!!!!" response implies that more than the prerequired 15
people have applied. And for 16*25 = £400 - well, if you were to book a 55
seater Seminar Room in Central London (including teas/coffees etc.) you
would be looking at a price of about £50..100.

If you wish to charge for your time, why not be open about it?

>In my 10 years studying NLP/Hypnois/etc I have never come across
>anyone offering a days course at such a low price!

I strongly suspected that your rebuttal would involve a favourable price
comparison against apparently similar products. But 'commercial' courses
do not claim to be trying to simply "cover the room cost"

>I hope you can come, I really believe your money and time will be
>well worth the investment

My personal disappointment in what I see to be a deception does not mean
that the day is not worth what you ask. I would very much like to attend
any such courses, unfortunately I have to work weekends, and I am unlikely
to know where I am working that weekend until much nearer the time. If I
am working locally I will try to get there. The second problem is that you
have chosen the weekend on top of my birthday.

Will you be accepting late bookings?

>Kind Regards
>
>Mark

Thanks for not getting upset with me. I do have a tendancy to 'tell things
like I see them', and this so often draws negative attitudes from people -
it's genuinely pleasing to see someone is prepared to defend their position
sanely and logically.

Cheers,

Bc
