To be honest I don't think there was any real reason why - his face
said it all. You don't need a running commentary by everyone who is
influenced/sees an influence on the show, or else it would probably
get boring. You see how suprised the master looks right? when the
camera sways to see him, he has a truly stunned expression.
I think you're dealing more with beneficial editing here than crafty
editing. You can tell happy from sad just as easily as you can tell
suprised from not-caring, right? So there isn't any need, besides
which we see what the guy under influence is feeling anyway, he has a
lot of difficulty getting up, if i remember correctly derren has to
help him, and it takes a while for him to agree to doing it again!
