A word on the strippers scene...
I'm a lover of free speech and the sharing of information – I share
whatever I work out about Derren with this group (just like the
football stadium scene which I worked out). I can understand you
wanting to keep the secret to yourself, but if you could give a
couple of strong hints, I'm sure everyone would appreciate it!!
Oh, I have just bought Derren's lecture video (from

watched it last night.
Its quite good, really interesting to see Derren before he was
featured on national TV. After watching it, you realise just how long
Derren has been doing this stuff for!! What we see on his MC programs
are just small amounts of his talent.
Do you guys remember when you were all talking about how Derren
uses "pattern interruption" (or however you describe it) on the girl
in the Opera house? Derren does the same move ("Thank you for helping
me" ... shakes the hand, then puts her hand to her forehead ... "Sleep")
on a couple of people with so much ease, you realise just how long he
has been doing this for.
In the video, he uses a woman from the audience for almost all the
tape. I personally found the best bit of the video was when he used
imbedded commands to try and make the woman forget what happened
after the effects were over. You can learn a lot just by watching him.
Although not the best quality, the video shows just what Derren was
like before he was a "celebrity". Really interesting.
