I have been creating various models based on derren brown's
techniques.
Answering your question based on my mental map and modelling...
Picks right subject...notice how she responds more than other girls
there. Installs FIRST HAND SHAKE....most people miss this...set up
shake.
he develops deep levels of rapport...via pacing...then uses
second 'induction handshake'...and continues pacing....and also at
this point uses more leading...
(leading is also used to check rapport...if they follow rapport is
there. - Clue...Headnobs etc- this is working as a double-bind
gesture...its doing two things. Testing and installing 'yes'
response).
The suggestions are in the form of embedded commands and tonal
markings. (Including use of voice tempo) "am i inside or outside?"
speeds up on "outside" and so on. Classic Erickson techniques.
If you listen (and watch for head movements...ie. a number of slight
movements to the right, marking out the embedded commands etc - her
left ear picks these up slightly more. Left ear connects to right
side brain etc. Complex and detailed stuff really), you might notice
the building up of rapport and suggestion.
All the DB techniques are 'framed' with rapport.
There are many more patterns. The patterns can be sorted into
linguistic, mental and behavioural. Read Desmond Morris! lol
