The issue with the last point is that the effects have been removed
from later editions because DB wanted to reserve performance rights
(so I hear).
So to take the effects and perform them would be unethical,
regardless of any changes you make to adapt to your own performance
style.
£800 is a lot of money to obtain the secret behind 2 performance
ideas. Lateral thinking is far cheaper. Clearly this first edition
has become a collectable but £800 is an insane price to pay for any
magic publication.
