hello there!
good luck on your personal statement, i had to do one last year to get into
my university and it took me ages to write one that really attracted the
university admin person! i don't know of any words myself but i would
suggest you talk to either a drama teacher and/ English teacher to help you,
as the both know about emotive words and how to write an emotive sentence.
if you want to attract a uni then i suggest you talk about your extra
curricular activities and any voluntary work and responsibilities you had
such as head girl and so on, they really attract the readers eye as it shows
you as a responsible and well rounded young person!
