Subject: enlisting the help of the experts on here
Hey! Right here's what I need. I'm writing my personal statement for
University. I'm going to do Philosophy, and due to it being over-
subscribed, I have to write a kick-ass persuasive personal statement.
I was wondering if anyone knows of any words that could
subconsciously attract the reader (i.e the admissions tutor) to me.
What I mean is, there are certain words when spoken or written that
instantly make people want to read more, such as 'free' or whatever.
Are there any Derren-like techniques I can use in my personal
statement? I hope you can help me, I reeeeeeally HAVE to get in at
York!
