Subject: Re: help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, philosophy is just a way of thinking, analysing which
are good and bad ways of doing things. It doesn't really add up to a
specific practice in a specialised area. That's probably why
companies are not outwardly looking for people with a philosophy
degree.
However, most businesses nowadays are just glad to take on anyone
with a degree, no matter what it is in.

Tip for all you uni goers: choose a subject that you will enjoy, NOT
what you think people will hire you for. I should know – I am doing
computer science and sometimes wish I had looked past my
possibilities for employment after uni, and instead, chosen a course
I know I would have loved.
