Wow!!!
Highroller, you must be Derren Brown's slightly more gifted twin.
With that last post you totally read my mind, in fact my only
complaint is that you did not stick "Cheers, Gordon" on the bottom of
it.
Still it may be that whilst i was reading the post, I was somehow
influenced by you and thus acquired your 'condition' subconsciously.
I am drawing up the Ouiija board to contact M.E., if it is,just as i
suspect, a demonstration of ideomotor response, then all hope for me
is lost. Unless Chris can graduate with a first class honours and
alleviate my condition, to which you Chris, are to some extent
responsible.
It is true that you can pick up conditions from 'clients'(i have
proof !!!).
I was down the pub with my mate on Saturday, and he was as pissed as
a skunk.
And since some people see all forms of communication as 'hypnosis',
as i talked to him(mainly about football), and was drinking some
amber coloured liquid, I too showed some signs of his condition,
until by the 10th pint, I too thought I was irresistible to women and
held genius like political views, even although they were accompanied
by some slurring of speech, to which I had no control (what more
proof do you need). Thankfully though my girlfriend did not see me
skilful yet fruity application of Ross Jeffries's speed seduction at
closing time, I am now convinced that staggering and accidentally
spitting in a woman's face, is not an acceptable anchor, I have done
this time and time again.
Remember when Derren makes the people on the train forget there
destination, well the bloody taxi driver !!. He asked me the magic
NLP words "where to ?", and I could not remember where I lived. I
put it down to the aggressive manner in which he delivered
his `suggestion' !!!. He must have read McGill's book too, but when I
asked him he seemed very vacant, thus he too must have been in a
trance.
That night my cure was my ever trustworthy `anchor', a slap from my
girlfriend and a cup off coffee.
Yet the next morning I showed typical hypno-amnesia, I could not
remember a thing. Which as I am sure you know Chris, often occurs
after a "session".
I was going to take a pen and paper with me to take notes, but I have
tried that before. It seems to be that, even although I am in a
waking state, my writing seems to resemble automatic writing, I find
it totally illegible, and therefore by clever deduction I must have
some deep rooted "issues", that my subconscious is withholding. This
I fear very much !!!!.
I think the next again day (Sunday) I was also in a trance, I seemed
to show excellent utilisation of movement (a key indicator), I sat on
my sofa and watched Italian football, and could only manage to
communicated to my girlfriend with strange mumbling noises.
Cheers,
Gordon
P.S. If you have any thoughts about this please let me know. Sorry
if my post seems a bit out of character, I must have picked it up
from my mate Jack D, Jim B or Jose C.
