Subject: Re: To Gordon.

The analogy of Einstein and Mozart's genius not
being replicated my NLP modelling techniques is not a
valid one. Remember, if I can play piano, and I can
play Mozart, then I am as a good as Mozart. The
question as to whether my own compositions are as good
as/better/ worse than Mozart is purely down to personal
taste....there is no reliable method of comparison as there is
with say javelin throwing techniques which can be
compared by empirical results to determine which is indeed
the most effective method.

I've personally
found NLP modelling techniques to be very helpful in a
number of applications, most notably skateboarding and
card throwing...they have instilled within me the
attitude that if it can be done, then I can do it.
Remember, aerodynamically speaking, a bumblebee should be
incapable of flight. Also, I don't know if any of you are
familiar with the basketball player Muggsy Bogues? He's
very short, about 5'3" if I remember correctly, but it
doesn't stop him slam dunking...perhaps another example
we can model?

Basically, modelling is
something we all do intuitively at some level....monkey
see, monkey do for example....and taken to greater and
more refined heights it can yield some amazing
results.

Besides, why would we want to replicate
Einstein's genius anyway? As he himself said, you can't
solve a problem with the same level of thinking that
created it!
