Agreed, but selecting a subject and having a paid
accomplice who's in on the scam are two very different
things....and the term 'stooge' would seem to denote some sort
of collusion.

It is quite obvious that
Derren selects his subjects, and why on earth shouldn't
he? We've seen him do it in the Spearmint Rhino skit
(girl on far left is very quiet/less expressive, thus
not used), the 'which hand is coin in' (examines all
four lads before making choice) the opera segment (can
see woman is most gregarious/expressive in her little
group) and so on. It is common sense to use the most
enthusiastic subject.

If anyone has any categoric proof
of stooges being used, then let's hear it....but I'm
not holding my breath in anticipation!
