What's an 'instant stooge'? Is that something you
just have to pour boiling water on or pop in the
microwave?
As for the kung fu guy, I believe this is a
combination of waking hypnosis and extreme mirroring. If
you've read much on NLP, you'll know that once you
establish a non-verbal rapport with someone (by mirroring
their breathing for example) it is then possible to
lead them and make them vary their breathing, to such
an extent that you can end or indeed bring on an
asthma attack in certain subjects. I'm sure other
phenomena are just as achievable too.....like having the
wind knocked out of you, for example.
Anyone have a
clearer insight into this one, as I'd love to know how
it's done.....
Actually, while I'm thinking
about it, I notice Derren has tacked on Vanessa Feltz
to the list of acknowledgements at the end of Pure
Effect along with various other novelty
inclusions....now there's a lady who knows a thing or two about
stooges!!!
