1- Channel 4 doesn't know how the show is done :
this is a good show, so they buy it. What is important
is the final result.
2- I didn't say DB uses only
stooges. In fact I think 95% of the effects can be
produced without it.
BUT
I'm always waiting for an
explanation for the hitting of the kung-fu guy !!! Film
editing and pre show work can't explain
everything.
I don't know if he uses stooges, but I do know he
used in the past "instant stooges" (I'm not sure it's
the good word) for his magic act.
