I would treasure that copy of Pure Effect if I
was you. They are like golddust, and are starting to
change hands for some interesting prices on
ebay.
I don't recall reading about the nodding in the
book, but it's a valid point about body language. He
does do it when he is not performing so I suspect it
is something that has become a natural way of
communicating for him.
He is aware that he does it too -
at the end of his recent video there is quite a
funny caption taking the michael out of his excessive
nodding.
