Books can induce a light trance. Probably the
better an more proficient a reader you are, the more
likely that the book will have that effect.
I think
you are right about NLP type use in whodunnits, but
then i suppose we should already know that. Whether it
is entirely deliberate or not is another
matter.
An indirectly related example was when a UNI
proffesor in the US of A , used some sun block and wote
some messages on some his subjects heads and then
exposed their heads briefly to UV light(Not enough to
make the effect visible). And some sexually
stimulating messages were used, and produced some guys plus
gals to become extremely popular with the opposite
sex.
Now if those guys and gals could mirror
write and lived in a nice warm climate. They need never
use "date a mate" again. :)
I live in
Scotland. And i don't much like fake tan, and cant write
backwards. Oh and my girlfriend would kill me.
But
if anybody else wants to try it, go ahead.
We may
get some positive results.
