Subject: Re: Trials & betting slip
It is possible to trick the bar keep into giving
you change for a 20, instead of the 10 you just
handed him, without relying on the them making a mistake
- I saw it done on a magic show shown on ITV, last
xmas I think (I was done street style, I just can't
remember the name of the guy who did it - it was pretty
good)
Anyway, this is what I remember - you need an accomplice,
who gets a drink first, with a 20. You also happen to
have marked this 20 in a way that would make it unique
(something scribbled on it usually). Hopefully the bar is
big enough so your accomplice can order his drink far
away from you, but at the same time using the same
till that'll be used when you're served (good idea not
to go in together either). Once he's got his drink
you then order yours, and use a 10. When the bar keep
brings you your change, say you gave them a 20, and that
it had 'insert description' scribbled on
it.
This way you've seemingly proved you gave them a 20,
you get your 10 quid extra change for more drinks,
elsewhere I would suggest, leaving the bar short by a few
bob, you thief!
Regards
Rob
