Subject: Keep it happy

I am long way off being an expert.
But having
one or two books (mostly on hypnosis), i am willing
to share all the information that I have.

And
I am dissapointed at the way in which people do not
disclose their methods and tricks.
But then it is not
my livelihood.
And if I was earning 2K for 120
mins, I may act differently.

But I will state
that mentalism does not appear to be exact.
And we
all use methods of mentalism everyday.

Have
you ever asked a 5 year old whether he prefers "Robot
Wars" to "WWF wrestling". You can see their eyes look
deep inside themselves. The process is most certainly
not simple, but is clear for all to see. And it is
worth trying, maybe not that question exactly, but you
know what I mean .

If you have a long-term
partner. Just by looking at them, you can see when they
are down or in deep thought. And that is not rocket
science, and most of us have done it, or should be doing
it.

Mentalism is not always subtle. But we do use it.

Books on mentalism are just people views and opinions.
Worth a read, but I would also use you own techniques
as primitive as they may be. And looking at Derren's
shows, do you think that, there was I was only one
correct way to claim a losing ticket. I don't think
so.

Instead of looking at they way others use mentalism,
possibly try looking at how we use it ?.
I suppose this
is a site about Derren and we are right to analyse
his tricks.

I did not write this to ruffle
feathers. And I hope I have not done so.

My sincere
apologies, and keep it cheery (egos are for real life)

like)

P.S. There is a guy on Bid Up TV, you need to check
him out. Subtle as a brick, but brilliant, he sells
stuff and has spiked hair. And it is good for a laugh.
Watch him spin his hammer. Not mentalism, not rapport,
just Pure 100% Patter. Have you seen him?
