Many of us like your suggestion so much that we have already started a new
site.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/derren-brown
If you would like to join us, you are completely welcome.

not to mention invisible cotton, electrified chairs, and carbon paper.

Did you see his political conference stunt? It is where he proved that you
do not need to be god (let alone God or GOD) to convince someone to change
a life-time opinion in seconds.

I'm sure that this will come up for discussion on the new group at some time.

>no offense to lauren or anyone else but what was this group before? a

I don't know where in the "dull worshipper" pile you landed, but maybe you
could share you possibly unique experience with us?

> now the man is apart of it you complain!

What a strange statement. Derren has been a frequenter of this group, and
been involved in chat sessions an infinite number of times more than on
this new site. Perhaps I misunderstand you?

>we will get all the news first i expect more webchats now and the creator

I truly hope that life gives you all that you "expect" from it :)

>i dont understand why you wouldnt want to be official. i dont think

He has stated clearly that he WILL do precisely that. Perhaps you could
not find that section of the new newsgroup - I concur, it IS at least a
little confusing at first - all of these HTTP forum packages are.

>why are unofficial groups so much better?

free speech!

> do u prefer everything unofficial or just internet forums?

i doubt that the new group will ever offer a POP/SMTP interface - and until
then many will not be able to access the chats as freely as they used to :(

> do go to shops and buy hot stars instead of heat?

I went to Argos last week to buy a box of heat, and they had a special on
hot stars, so strange as it may seem - it has actually happened ;)

> panda pops instead of coke?

You couldn't have chosen a worse example. Panda "Limón" flavour is my
favourite canned drink of all time.

> axe instaed of lynx?

Again, not being much of a TV watcher, I do not suffer from brand
programming, and again, I use a Boots own brand under-arm.

> those crap teletubby bears from fairgounds instead of something that
> actually looks like a teletubby?

You really do ask some strange questions! I can't imagine any reason I
should want to buy any form of teletubby.

>if you have a problem with the change then you can leave!

Thank you. I am pleased that you approve of my decision. Of course, it is
only fair of me to point out that if you are letting this stress you so
much, you have my full permission to do the same, if you like.

>AND YES YOU ARE ASKING TOO MANY BLEEDIN' QUESTIONS!!!!!!!!!!

No need to get upset... I am sure somebody will be able to help you find
the right answers if it means so much to you.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Cheers,

BC
