Yeah, I was at Croydon too and thought it was amazing. My friends
and I were completely blown away by it all, especially with the 2nd
half!
I was standing near Derren's parents before the show (which was by
total accident before you think I am a mad stalker!! :) and I
overheard his mum (I wasn't eavesdropping - ok, maybe just a teensy
weensy bit!) saying that her stomach was churning - she looked really
excited about seeing the show.
The whole of the 3rd row was filled with Derren's family and friends
and they all gave him a standing ovation at the end of the show.
When he came back for his encore, his mum stood up again alone,
clapping and looking really proud, bless her!
By the way, I'm sure that one of the guys who was picked by Derren
was friends with Derren's brother which I thought a bit suspicious,
but then again, perhaps not?!
I met Derren too, and he was lovely. Fantastic night.
