If you like Derren's stuff, then you'll like the book, as he comes across in
the book very much as he does on the stage and on TV - very friendly, very
personable, the odd joke here and there (you'll recognise some in the book
as being those he uses again and again on TV/stage), nice and easy style.

There are a few magician-only terms, but they aren't overly complex (google
has definitions of all of them if you're interested), and a few revelations,
if you read between the lines, about exactly how much NLP & psychology he
uses in his performances, some great (old) Derren tricks explained.

It's very short though, 168 large type pages, is over too quickly, and maybe
over-priced therefore.
