And I couldn't resist pointing you in the direction of that website.
I think you will find there is a fantastically large amount of
information on that site regarding how things are done. Think of it
as an internet pun ;)

As for the circular logic that is "crap in a good way" - Knight
Rider is crap, in a good way. McDonalds food is crap, in a good way.

Its an oxymoronic statement that states my opinion of his live
performance perfectly. I don't know how you feel about the live show
but my opinion is that it was great (Nice to see DB live and see the
effects carried out without camera tricks and editing) but crap (The
effects were not that good and if it hadn't been for DBs
entertaining banter and exceptional presenational skills the show
would have been a huge disappointment).
