Hi
nod in nodski- very derren, LOL!!! :-)
the onodski name came from a username i used on MRC years ago!
my surname is O'Daly and i could only use 4 letter username for some
reason so it was Onod. some guy on the list was called ski-ski and
he added ski onto everybodys name and it just stuck, great theory
though.
yep don't post much for two reasons
1, still new to the area and
2, i am very busy and don't get to check in too often
someone sait they were interested in my work and what fMRI does
well i am a student studing an amphetamine based model of
schizophrenia in humans. i'm in my first year as a ph.d student so no
pblications yet, one in the works, ie: being submitted for
publication from my masters (genetic contribution to structural
changes in the schizophrenic brain)
fMRI is a type of brain scan which allows you to monitor an indirect
measure of regional brain activity diring the performance of a mental
task.

would still love to hear a review of absolute magic.
just ordered a lot of kenton knepper stuff (wonder words etc..) and
some books by banachek, should be here within the week. any other
reccomendations.

i am interested in things like derren's inducing amnesia and trance
induction. from a reseach point of view i am really interest in
conciousness and a number of discoveries are showing us how easily
consciousness can be manipulated and tricked (inattentional blindness
etc..) i just think that some of these techniques may have research
potentional

won't block up the list with more info on me, this list is about
derren and his effects after all. anyone who wants to discuss things
more can contact me offline at
onodski@e...

thanks
all the best
O Nodski! :-) still makes me smile
