Subject: Derren's hollow leg.
Hi
What can people tell me about the rumour that Derren has a hollow
right leg? Does anyone know if this is true?
I first read about it in a horse manual about two years ago but have
heard nothing more about it since. It was only when I went to see him
perform recently that I realised that there may be some truth to it.
I stayed behind after the show to get my copy of 'The Grange Hill
Annual' signed. (As you may recall, Derren made a number of
appearances on the show in the early eighties.) When Derren finally
arrived and began signing books he was wearing a VERY tight pair of
leather shorts and I couldn't help noticing a trap door flapping open
at the bottom of his right leg.
I didn't want to stare but I did notice a small mouse peeping out of
the trap door occasionally. I think this may be the famous 'Philip',
Derren Brown's rodent assistant whom I first heard about on a recent
episode of 'Pet Rescue.'
Can anyone else shed any light on this mystery? Can anyone else
recall having ever read anything about the hollow leg? Is it a well
known magicians prop?
Thanks for your time
Tom
