Digressing a bit to earlier posts - but not being acquainted with betting at
Dog tracks - there was a dispute whether DB could actually get paid out on a
ticket when an automated machine would have verified to the cashier that it
was a losing bet.
Recall there being a till but not precisely how the cashier processed the
ticket after it had been presented. Anyone out there with a video tape on this
trick that can check what the cashier did/used between taking the ticket and
paying out?
Can anyone in the group explain " The Corporate Fat Cat - Golden Handshake
Trick "- the one where managing directors & chairman get paid millions for
resigning from companies failures they've presided over? That takes real genius!
