Well, this group is called 'Derren Brown', so surely fan-mail type posts are
to be expected. There's room for everyone, surely. You can always ignore the
posts that are not relevant.

Perhaps we should try to ensure the subject line of all messages reflect the
content, so we know what will be of interest/relevance to each of our
individual requirements and expectations.

Personally, I am interested in using NLP techniques therapeutically and to
improve negotiation skills for 'win-win' scenarios (useful in conflict
situations). The National Student article was very interesting as, when
asked if he could use his skills for some 'greater good', Derren replied
that a lot of what he does is showmanship and 'psychological cheating'. So
I'm guessing that this is not the best group for me to find out more about
using these techniques in the above-mentioned way.

This group is not turning out the way I had anticipated........

I completely agree with Craig ... instead its a bunch of bitching and
teenagers going googly eye'd over having met the MAN in person! Some of
the posts are cringe worthy.

So what is the purpose of this group? Maybe somebody could change the
charter on the Y! Groups page so people like Craig and myself (and others)
are not duped.
