I would agree. Generally, attractive girls in their early twenties.
Stage hypnotists do the same thing. I've heard that girls of student
age are supposed to be more open-minded and hence more suggestible.
When I asked Derren about what he looked for in a voluteer (and why
he didn't pick me!), he said vaguely that they had to be in
a "certain state".....

However, try not to be too eager. I was on the edge of my seat,
desperately trying to catch his eye whenever he came in to the
audience and he took no notice whatsoever. When I went on stage with
Paul McKenna last year, I was absolutely petrified. As soon as I got
up there, I started to regret it and tried to blend into the
background. Out of about 30 people, he picked me first to hypnotise!
Therefore, my theory is that you want to look attentive, but not too
keen as he may mistake you for a challenger. Good luck! :-)
