Subject: Re: persuade

Not sure if this is what you're asking for, but here goes anyway:

Well, what I do is quite natural, and it wasn't a conscious thought
until really recently when I noticed some people were quite reluctant
to approach me (no, and it's not smell! :)

I think it's the fact that I'm often in very dark and mysterious
clothes whcih is one way. I'm quite a solitary guy, but am very
approachable. It's that initial signals which I give off that I think
people are "afraid" of. Everyone does this unconsciously, litrally
within a few seconds of seeing / meeting someone.

*Okay, well clothes is one (I usually always wear pure black).
*I keep myself well-groomed, but you could do the opposite to this! :)
*Don't smile an awful lot, unless I'm with people or somethings
happening. People upon meeting me are often very supprised when they
get to know me a little more, often I get "shhiit man, I thought you
were some arrogant, uptight asshole... no offence tho", lol!!

Uhh, but if you really don't want people to call for you, then simply
ignore them. It doesn't have to be blantant. But whenever they are
talking to you, look very uninterested, and give "one-worded
replies". I find that this is undoubtely the most successful
technique as again people unconsciously pick-up on these things and
then will often not warm to you as much!

Summary: Never establish *ANY* rapport, with anyone that you dont
want to "call for you".

Hope some of that helps! :)
