Hi Gaz,

Im afraid that i really cant help you with and NLP stuff since im a novice
myself(but perhaps some of the others can!)
Having said this I totally sympathise with your physical pain. Im a classical
dancer and have had to endure several painful things, fractured elbows, torn
intercostals, pnemonia, severe bruised nails in pointshoes etc..... I started
full time training when i was 11 and when i was at the specialist school an
experiment was carried out on us all to see if our pain barrier/threshhold was
higher than the average person, since we'd been subjected to it from an early
age. Evidently it was. I dont know much about how pain works but in certain
cases you can overide it. Everytime i get injured i keep telling myself that
pain is a sensation, its just that we've been educated to think its unpleasent!
I dont know what you can do to 'scare' your opponents, but im sure that
something could be done to increase your pain threashhold through some kind of
mind control technique. At least that way you might not be in as much
discomforrt! If that fails, painkillers are good! Especially perscripsion ones!
This is all just my opinion( and probably irrelevent babble, but ive been stuck
at the computer all day typing a report and keep reading everyones emails to at
least make me feel as if im not a total hermit!)
Hope the rugby goes well, na na (Poppy)

just by reading this post but at the
moment I'm in quite some discomfort. After getting droped on my head
by a 6ft 4 giant, elbowed in the jaw, a stiff knee to the neck and
generally getting bashed about on the rugby field I am turning to
you, the NLP/Hypnosis community for some help.

I play rugby league, which I really enjoy.... usually. But after
saturdays beating I decided I need some kind of edge against the
opponents and maybe manipulating the referee.

What I'm after is a few useful techniques to experiment with.

I don't get to have big chats with the opponents or referee before
the game so I may only get a few lines of dialogue at certain points
in the match. ie after tackles and during referee stopages. So with
as minimul dialogue or body language can people suggest a few things.

Areas such as:
Making opponents feel tired, unable to run quick, scared, out of
breath anything like that.

And/Or anyway to influence the ref on decisions such as high
tackles, who the ball came off etc.

This post may seem a little ambitious but please, my bruised and
beaten body needs it, any techniques or suggestions to try would be
great.

Thanks all, I look forward to any suggestions you may want to post.

Gaz
