Subject: Re: ouija boards

Well, personally I've never tried a Ouija board, but I do believe in
the afterlife.
I've had a few experiences myself, but the most severe case I know
happened to my best friend. A 'ghost' (or whatever you may like to
call them) spent a few months making my friends life hell. It spoke
to her many times a day, sometimes waking her up at night, shouting
and swearing at her, showing her images of all her friends being
killed while she was made to watch, showing her images of herself
cutting up her own body...and some other things which she's never
been able to tell me (maybe she will one day, this only happened a
few months ago though).
From this alone it would seem that my friend has some kind of mental
problem, and I may well have believed this for myself if it hadn't
been for the fact that I've heard voices while I've been with her,
and I can't think of another possible explanation for a door (not
attached too hinges, it was just up against the wall waiting to be
fixed) moving across the room and throwing itself into my friend. And
other friends of ours have experienced similar things while being
with her.
I guess ghosts are just the easy thing to blame, truthfully I really
can't say what it really was. Some people say things like this can be
caused by a persons built up stress inside them, but it would have to
be a whole load of stress!
Anyway this was slightly off the topic, sorry, just thought I'd share
my views/experiences.

boarding school for 7 years and naturally entertainment in the
evenings always seemed to gravitate towards a glass and a ouija board
that was passed down the years. There were only 12 girls in our year
and when we were all 16 we spent several hours each night "calling
the dead!" This went on for weeks and drove several people nuts!!

etc... As far as i was aware everything that arose from the board was
a manifestation of a deep thought of one of the girls. Often we could
blatently see which person was moving the glass, but when you told
them they would deny doing anything at all. It also seemed that
certain combeinations of people would result in sweet f.a.

board and how the bloody thing works please do. na na.
