Nice theory but no. I fell for this one. I got 7 of hearts. How does
an invisible card switch do that?

Then I watched it back.

Not obvious like the Ace of Spades: Steers you away from black cards
in general, also picture "obvious" cards.

He was signalling 7 of hearts like mad. Look when he says "See it in
the back of your mind". How many fingers are "up", and how many are
curled down a bit? Watch him hitting 2 fists against the card in a
heartbeat like manner. Next to his heart. What's that dippy thing he
does with sticking his fingers in the sides of his mouth and then
down? Is that a big 7 or a heart? There was a lot of handwaving
there. It worked. No sleight needed.

Without any idea of what the hell I was doing, I described the trick
to 2 people at work, who hadn't seen the show, but copied the hand
movements. They guessed the cards at 7 of diamonds and 8 of hearts.
Nearly. But not quite ...
