As someone whose internal dialogue is not always in English, I have
been wondering about this for ages, especially with regard to goat,
sorry throat reading. I have noticed Derren struggling with names
that are not in normal English. On the radio he had some problems
guessing the Cornish nameplace ("Is it Welsh?" - good guess actually,
the languages/grammatical structure are related.) He also struggled
with the anglicised Gaelic name on Kelly's chat show on tv.

If he does have a problem with it, I reckon he would need to work on
that effect for any US show.
