Look on his website (channel4 thingy) and examine the 3 of diamonds
video. If you use your imagination it is easy to successfully apply
this to other cards (namely 3 of hearts, 5 of hearts, 4 of clubs
etc...).

On the hypnosis suggestion thing, if you have some experience with
hypnosis you should be able to reperform the hand stuck
together/forgetting name thing that Derren did on Jo Whiley. To
achieve this consider listening to the clip on derrenbrown.150m.com
and copying what he does.
